A very late 'Happy New Year'!!
This year has started off the way last year ended... busy!
However, some changes in lessons mean I have been requested to teach a lot more GCSE art than ever before, and this term the results have been fantastic from all students!
Art of course has some incredibly therapeutic properties and can bring out the very best in the most discerning of creative souls.
This term, I have enjoyed teaching Key stages 2, 3 and 4 in the beauties of art history and practising styles from impasto ( Van Gogh), pointillism ( Seurat) and cubist ( Picasso). This has fast become my favourite type of lesson during term 3 as the emerging styles from impassioned students have been incredibly rewarding to watch; some exhibited below...
